1-YEAR MANUFACTURER WARRANTY
We stand behind every cover that leaves our shop. If yours shows a defect in materials or workmanship within one year of purchase, we'll replace the affected piece — free of charge, no shipping cost to you.
WHAT'S COVERED
- Stitching that comes apart on its own
- Neoprene that tears, splits, or delaminates under normal use
- Elastic cord or cinch hardware that fails
- Color bleeding, fabric defects, or material flaws from manufacturing
If something broke that shouldn't have, that's on us. We make it right.
WHAT'S NOT COVERED
- Normal wear and tear over time
- Damage from cuts, punctures, burns, chemical exposure, or pressure washing
- Cosmetic fade from sun exposure beyond normal expectations
- Modifications, alterations, or third-party repairs
- Damage from improper installation (we have install videos on every product page — use them)
- Damage caused by use outside the product's intended purpose
If you cut, burn, or destroy your covers and want replacements, we love helping you out — but those go through normal repurchase, not warranty.
WHAT YOU GET
A free replacement for the affected piece — front bottom, rear backrest, whatever failed. We replace by piece, not by full set, since 99% of warranty claims involve a single component. If multiple pieces in your set are affected, we'll cover the whole set without question.
No shipping cost to you on warranty replacements within the US.
Canadian warranty claims: we'll cover the replacement piece, but you cover the inbound shipping if we need the defective item returned for inspection. In most cases we'll just send the replacement without asking for the original.
HOW TO FILE A WARRANTY CLAIM
Email info@mudderswag.com with:
- Your order number (or the email used to place the order)
- A photo of the defect
- A quick description of what happened
Joe or Austin will reply directly within one business day. No portal, no chatbot, no "a representative will be with you in 48 hours."
We don't make you ship the defective item back unless something looks unusual. Most claims, we just send the replacement and trust you.
WHO IT COVERS
This warranty covers the original purchaser only. It does not transfer to second-hand buyers, gift recipients keeping the receipt, or anyone who didn't place the original order.
You need your order number or original purchase email to file a claim. No exceptions — too easy for the policy to get abused otherwise.
NOT A LIFETIME WARRANTY
We're a small family brand. We can't honor lifetime warranties without going broke. One year is honest, fair, and longer than most of our competitors offer.
If your covers make it past the one-year mark and something fails, email us anyway. We'll likely help you out — but it'll be a courtesy, not a contractual obligation.
